Don A. Eberhart, DDS
Dr. Don A. Eberhart was raised in the suburbs of southern California and attended the University of California, San Diego where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Psychology and Art History. After taking a few months to travel through Europe, Dr. Eberhart attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he graduated with Honors in 2000. Having spent his entire life in California, he decided to change things up and headed to Arizona to begin practicing Dentistry.
Dr. Eberhart takes pride in providing his patients with the latest technology in a state of the art office. Some of this technology includes: CEREC which allows him to make crowns in one appointment (without the goopy impression material), digital x-rays which use 90% less radiation than standard xrays, as well as 3D Cone Beam technology which provide 3D x-rays for more difficult cases which require the utmost in precision.
Learning and teaching have always been passions for Dr. Eberhart. Since 2012, he has been a Mentor at the world-renowned Scottsdale Center for Dentistry where he helps train practicing dentists how to use CEREC technologies. Being a Mentor also allows him to learn about new advances and technologies before they are released. Dr. Eberhart has been practicing in the West Valley for over 15 years and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Central Arizona Dental Association. He is a dedicated fan of the Arizona Cardinals (Rise Up Red Sea!) and values spending time with his wife and two sons exploring Arizona and participating in various outdoor activities.

Prior to joining Dental Arts of Surprise he practiced in San Antonio, Texas for 5 years.
He relocated to Arizona with his wife, a periodontist, who practices with the United States Air Force at Luke Air Force Base. In addition to practicing at Dental Arts of Surprise, Dr. Johnson serves as an adjunct professor at Midwestern University School of Dentistry in Glendale teaching dental students all aspects of general dentistry.
When he’s not working, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing hockey, golfing, hiking, camping, brewing beer (still fine tuning his recipes) and playing both the guitar and the trumpet.
